PRS Guitars Maryland Operations Temporarily Closed

On Monday, March 30th, Maryland Governor Larry Hogan announced a “Stay at Home” Executive Order, closing all non-essential Maryland businesses as of 8:00PM. Resultantly, PRS Guitars has temporarily closed operations. While manufacturing is not currently operating, corporate staff – including Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, Artist Relations, Finance, and the Supply Chain team – will continue to work from home during this time.

We feel very fortunate that our guitars and amplifiers are still in demand and that our backlog remains strong. It is our hope that we will soon be able to resume business at full capacity, but we are entering a time of unknowns. We are extremely thankful for a workforce that is not only patient and flexible, but overwhelmingly eager to pitch in and be part of a solution. PRS comes alive at times like this, and it is our strong opinion that we have the best team in the industry.

We have taken several measures at this time to support our employees, our customers, our community, and our business. We are communicating throughout the employee family (probably) more than we normally do, and that has been a great source of joy for us. We have also donated nearly 400 N95 masks and thousands of gloves to our local Sheriff’s department for use by police and front-line health and EMS workers in our surrounding area. Additional masks and gloves were donated to several other local health care offices in hopes that area health care workers can stay safe from COVID-19 while caring for patients. We are all in this together. We will get through this together.
