PRS Guitars today revealed the full roster of 2021 PRS Pulse Artists. The Pulse Artist program, announced earlier this year, has greatly expanded its initial group of eleven artists, now featuring players from fourteen countries including the USA. The 2021 Pulse Artist class also represents a diverse range of playing styles and reflects the global scope of the program.

PRS Guitars is proud to join the “Giving Tuesday” movement to support gig-economy musicians in their Maryland backyard as well as award-winning musicians and artists who have been uniquely affected by COVID-19. Giving Tuesday, which takes place on December 1st, is a collective effort to transform how people take part in the holiday season. Just as Black Friday and Cyber Monday have become synonymous with holiday shopping, the goal of Giving Tuesday is to be a national day of giving.

PRS Guitars today announced a Limited Edition SE parlor acoustic in Powder Blue just in time for the 2020 holiday season. This Limited Edition maintains all the original appointments of the PRS SE P20E with the addition of a striking blue solid-mahogany top paired with its natural mahogany back and sides. Fewer than 1,000 of these guitars will be available worldwide.

PRS Guitars Pulse Artist program, announced today, is designed to support leading local artists around the world. While PRS is known for A-list artist endorsements from Carlos Santana, Mark Tremonti, John Mayer, and more, this program turns the focus to PRS players who are making waves in their local music scene.

2020 marks PRS Guitars 35th Anniversary year. While the celebration year has not gone exactly as planned, PRS has been able to continue releasing new products for guitarists throughout the year.

PRS Guitars is especially pleased to introduce the Experience PRS 2020 Modern Eagle V. At each Experience PRS open house event, PRS has produced a small number of special guitars as part of the celebration. Even though this year’s event was unable to happen as scheduled, PRS has committed to bring out the models that were planned with the event, as seen through the announcements of the SE Parlor acoustic line up and the SE Hollowbody II Piezo.

PRS Guitars today announced the SE Hollowbody II Piezo. Another instrument that was scheduled to be released for their Experience PRS event earlier this year, the PRS SE Hollowbody II Piezo is the first piezo-equipped instrument in the SE Series.

On Wednesday, May 13th, Maryland Governor Larry Hogan announced that manufacturing in Maryland may open as of 5:00pm on May 15th, 2020. PRS Guitars subsequently resumed manufacturing the week of May 18th.

PRS reopened with approximately 25% of the workforce as an additional precaution. Throughout the week, staffing was gradually increased, and PRS is now operating with a full production and operations staff. Production volume is expected to ramp more slowly, reaching previous output levels in the coming weeks. Some corporate staff continues to work from home during this time.

PRS Guitars has long been known for its solid-body electric instruments, but today PRS is proudly announcing its first-ever Parlor acoustic guitars. Building on its successful SE acoustic lineup, PRS’s new assortment of SE Tonare Parlor Acoustics are available in several colors and are offered both with and without electronics.
