PRS Guitars Introduces P24 Limited Edition

PRS’s First 24-fret Solidbody Piezo-Equipped Guitar Offers a New Tool with Extreme Versatility

The P24, PRS’s first 24-fret solidbody piezo-equipped instrument, gives musicians a new and unique tool to add to their lineup. Based on the extremely versatile P22 model, the limited edition P24 comes standard with a maple 10-Top, mahogany back, 25” scale length Pattern-Regular mahogany neck, Honduran rosewood fretboard with mother of pearl “old school” bird inlays, hybrid hardware, a PRS piezo adjustable stoptail bridge, and the redesigned PRS/LR Baggs piezo system. Only 50 instruments will be made in each of the five colors offered: Black Gold Burst, Blue Crab Blue Burst, Eriza Verde Smokeburst, Fire Red Burst, and Vintage Smokeburst.

PRS Guitars’ Exclusive Collection Series IV Instruments by Private Stock Now Available

Introduced in the fall of 2011, PRS Guitars’ Collection Series instruments are built in small batches by the company’s Private Stock department. Each Collection Series consists of one electric and one acoustic guitar made with the most exacting methods and the most prized components in the company’s possession, including pernambuco necks and fingerboards, which are exclusive to the Collection program. For the fourth installment in PRS Guitars’ Collection Series, Paul Reed Smith and the Private Stock team have designed two stunning instruments: the Series IV Collection Brent Mason electric and the Series IV Collection Grand acoustic.

PRS Guitars Hits the Road with GRAND-AM Road Racing

As PRS Guitars’ third straight year of partnership with GRAND-AM Road Racing continues, there are more trophies, more Guitar Center Fan Days, more Race to the Stage Auditions, and more concerts to enjoy! 2012 marks the second year that PRS is providing race winners in both the Rolex Sports Car Series Daytona Prototype (DP) and Grand Touring (GT) classes with a unique trophy – a fully functional PRS SE Singlecut customized with GRAND-AM and Rolex Sports Car Series logos. To support this partnership and work to connect the music and racing worlds in new and exciting ways, PRS is hitting the road for a series of Guitar Center events and race day concerts.

“Lefty” Custom 24 Limited Edition

For a limited time only, PRS Guitars’ flagship model – the Custom 24 – is available to order as a left-handed instrument. The Custom 24 is the original PRS…the guitar Paul took to his first tradeshow in 1985. It is a perennial favorite with musicians, and we are happy to offer a version for our left-handed friends.

PRS Core Line of Amplifiers Receive Distinctive Figured Maple Fascias

In 1985 Paul Reed Smith officially opened PRS Guitars offering a limited number of guitar models. Throughout the years, these instruments gradually changed the walls of guitar shops with their figured maple tops and eye-catching stains. Now, PRS Guitars core amplifier line will continue that tradition with an upgraded specification: curly maple fascias. These maple faceplates will come standard on all core models and be stained Charcoal for a subtle but distinctive aesthetic makeover.
