The Private Stock team at Paul Reed Smith Guitars is gearing up to celebrate 20 years of designing and building high-quality, customized electric and acoustic guitars in 2016, and as part of the new year’s lineup, Private Stock is introducing the new Singlecut Archtop model. Made with some of the finest tonewoods available, the Private Stock Singlecut Archtop model delivers tone, playability, and elegance to pro-level players and collec­tors alike.

PRS Guitars recently added two new baritone guitars, the new SE 277 Semi Hollow Soapbar and the SE 277, to its bevy of more affordable guitar model options. Tuned B to B, two and a half steps below standard, the two new baritones offer a taut muscular low end, with powerful aggressive tones and flexibility of going from chimey clean, to warm depth, to articulate tonal hostility.

PRS Guitars is pleased to introduce three new S2 Standard Satin models as part of its 2016 model year announcements: the S2 Standard 22 Satin, S2 Standard 24 Satin, and S2 Singlecut Satin. Each of these models will now be offered in Charcoal, McCarty Tobacco, Vintage Cherry, and Vintage Mahogany satin nitro finishes.

PRS Guitars is proud to officially announce Collection Series IX by Private Stock. Introduced in the fall of 2011, the PRS Collection Series is made up of a very limited number of instruments each year that are made with the most prized components in the company’s possession, using PRS’s most exacting methods.

On the evening of Saturday, October 10th, Paul Reed Smith Guitars will host the 16th Annual One Night One Show One Cause Benefit Concert, for the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center. This year’s event will take place at the Modell Center for the Performing Arts at the Lyric in Downtown Baltimore, Maryland, and will feature an exclusive performance by Paul Rodgers and his band.

The SE 30th Anniversary “Floyd” Custom 24 celebrates many things: 30 years of PRS, the growth that has allowed PRS to deliver quality instruments to players at the most affordable levels, and the guitar that started it all with the edgy update of a Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo.

To celebrate the second anniversary of the PRS S2 Series, PRS is introducing two new metallic finishes, “Ice Blue Fire Mist” and “Egyptian Gold”, to the all-mahogany guitars in the S2 line, including the S2 Mira, Mira Semi-Hollow, Singlecut Standard, Standard 22, Standard 24, Starla and Vela.

On Friday, June 13, 2015 the Chesapeake Region Safety Council (CRSC) held its 92nd Annual Meeting at the USS Constellation Historic Ship at Pier One in Baltimore. Each year CRSC accepts nominations from member organizations who have achieved exceptional levels of performance in Safety and Health. The competition requires companies to not only talk the talk about safety but to show results through supporting documentation. Other members are recognized for their exceptional level of support of CRSC through their sponsorship of activities and events.
