The band Periphery has become a force to be reckoned with in the progressive metal scene thanks to their complex rhythms and soaring melodies. Guitarist Mark Holcomb helps achieve this full, lethal sound with his PRS guitars and signature Seymour Duncan Alpha and Omega pickups. PRS and Holcomb have worked closely together to develop a truly unique guitar for the SE Series lineup.
PRS Guitars is celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Private Stock with a revival of the program that started it all: Guitars of the Month. For June, PRS is releasing a Paul’s Guitar model. Personally designed and appointed by Paul Reed Smith, Paul’s Guitar is a highly musical instrument that features two 408N treble and bass pickups and a versatile coil tap system. Only ten of these instruments will be made for June 2016.
Specially appointed to commemorate the 2016 Experience PRS event, the Experience PRS 2016 Custom 24-08 adds a new control layout to the company’s most classic model. The Custom 24 first officially debuted at PRS Guitars’ first NAMM show in 1985 and has been played by internationally touring artists, gigging musicians, and aspiring players ever since.
