Guitarist Mark Holcomb helps achieve this full, lethal sound with his PRS guitars and signature Seymour Duncan Alpha and Omega pickups. PRS Guitars Celebrates 20th Anniversary of Private Stock with June Guitar of the Month

PRS Guitars is celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Private Stock with a revival of the program that started it all: Guitars of the Month. For June, PRS is releasing a Paul’s Guitar model. Personally designed and appointed by Paul Reed Smith, Paul’s Guitar is a highly musical instrument that features two 408N treble and bass pickups and a versatile coil tap system. Only ten of these instruments will be made for June 2016.

Celebrating The Eighth “Experience PRS” Event with Limited Edition Custom 24

Specially appointed to commemorate the 2016 Experience PRS event, the Experience PRS 2016 Custom 24-08 adds a new control layout to the company’s most classic model. The Custom 24 first officially debuted at PRS Guitars’ first NAMM show in 1985 and has been played by internationally touring artists, gigging musicians, and aspiring players ever since.

In the spirit of Private Stock’s ever forward-thinking designs, PRS introduces the May 2016’s Guitar of the Month: the 509. The 509 starts with a 5 single coil platform – with the outside two coils grouped as humbuckers. With its longer scale length (25.25”), middle single coil pickup, and two mini-toggle coil-tap switches, the 509 is perfect for single coil players who want the added tonal versatility of humbucking and humbucking and single coil sounds in one guitar.
