Here's How We Celebrated Make Music Day 2025!
Posted Jun 25, 2025
Did you know June 21 was International Make Music Day? Recognized annually on the 21st of June, Make Music Day is a time set aside for musicians around the world to unite, connect, collaborate, and perform. Emerging from humble beginnings in Paris as "Fête de la Musique," Make Music Day has since been recognized in over 120 countries since its inception in 1982.
PRS’s extended community of artists participated in many of these free music-making events around the world, including Signature Artists, Official Artists and members of the 2025 class of PRS Pulse Artists. While much of the action took place online, PRS also celebrated Make Music Day with “PRS Day” at Bay Tunes here in Edgewater, MD and a David Grissom clinic at The Tone Shop in Addison, TX. PRS also sponsored an event locally at the Cult Classic Brewery, hosting performances from The Stoneflies and students from the Priddy Music Academy. Many of our artists demonstrated their considerable talents through either solo or collaborative efforts. Consider joining the Make Music Day movement next year and getting out to play!
