Compact Power Meets Boutique Tone

The PRS DGT 15 Combo brings the acclaimed tone and versatility of the DGT 15 head into a convenient, combo format. Designed in close collaboration with guitarist David Grissom, this 15-watt amp delivers vintage-inspired tone, incredible dynamics, and gig-ready portability—all in one compact package. From home and studio setups to small stage performances, this combo amp’s integrated speaker cabinet and manageable footprint make it easy to grab, go, and get great tone anywhere.

The DGT 15 Combo is a single-channel amp designed with maximum tone-shaping in mind. It excels as a clean platform, offering sparkling highs, rich midrange, and tight low-end that respond beautifully to your playing dynamics and pedals. The built-in master volume and 3-position bright switch allow for detailed tone shaping at any volume level. Additional tone-shaping features include a 3-band tone stack (treble, middle, bass), boost, tube-driven reverb, top cut, presence, and tremolo. Like on the head version, it is not just the controls, but the combination of the controls and control parameters that bring out this amp’s extreme functional versatility. For example, the bright switch can be set to on, off, or on except when the boost is engaged, so you can intricately manipulate the amp’s high-end. The Master Volume can be set to be on, off, or on only with the Boost. The tremolo circuit oscillates the power tube bias (old-school) and features speed and depth front panel controls to dial in to your exact preference. The included 3-button footswitch allows you to control boost, reverb, and tremolo at the tip of your toes. Whether you’re chasing edge-of-breakup warmth, crisp articulate cleans, or a harmonically rich foundation for your effects chain, the DGT 15 Combo delivers expressive tone – with tone and convenience to match.

Controls

Pre-Amp Section

Volume / Master Volume
The Volume control regulates the volume or loudness of the amp. It also increases the amp’s distortion as you turn it up. The Master can be used in combination with the Volume to generate preamp distortion at a lower volume.

PRO TIP: When setting the Volume at or around noon (edge of breakup), keep the Bass control lower and bring the Master up 3/4 to all the way for smoother distortion.
T/M/B Tonestack
This amp has a 3-band EQ, so you can use the Treble, Middle, and Bass controls to dial in your desired tone.
Boost Controls
This amp also features a 3-way Boost switch, which helps achieve that edge of breakup setting with increased drive and punch; using the Boost with the footswitch makes it easily engaged for singing leads.
Bright Switch
The Bright Switch adds high end shimmer to tones. As a 3-way switch, it can be set on/off or to be on only for unboosted/cleaner settings, if desired.

Additional Controls

Reverb
The Top Cut control allows you to remove unwanted sharp treble tones through phase-canceling.
Top Cut
Think of this as a high treble boost. Presence allows you to dial in high-mids and treble. As those are increased, the amp’s tone is brought forward. Depending on the tone stack and volume settings, the presence can change the gain/texture and loudness of the high-end, making your tone more 3-dimensional (or more “present”).
Presence
Think of this as a high treble boost. Presence allows you to dial in high-mids and treble. As those are increased, the amp’s tone is brought forward. Depending on the tone stack and volume settings, the presence can change the gain/texture and loudness of the high-end, making your tone more 3-dimensional (or more “present”).
Tremolo: Speed and Depth
Tremolo acts as a modulation effect that oscillates between low and high volume, creating a pulsing guitar signal. The Speed controls frequency of the oscillation. The Depth controls the intensity of the effect.
